Why did you choose Japan?

I was born here in Japan and spent my childhood in Chiba. When I was in my teenage years, my family went back to the Philippines for good. Experiencing life in both countries, I preferred the polite-respectful culture of Japan so I've always wanted to go back here in Japan.

What good things did you experience after arriving in Japan?

Meeting new people is always a good experience, both Japanese and other foreigners. Unlike other countries, I've never felt being racially discriminated here because everyone is kind and welcoming. Also, another thing that I love about Japan is that the streets here are safe even at night.

What bad experiences did you face in Japan?

Personally, I haven't had any bad experience living here in Japan.
However, there are some difficulties as a foreigner to live in Japan especially if you are not fluent with Japanese such as going to hospitals, opening a bank and renting an apartment but most Japanese people are kind to guide you thru the process. Fees for services can sometimes feel expensive but if you think about the quality of the service you will get in return, I think it's worth it.

What is your future dream?

My dream is to be a freelance developer and have a flexible lifestyle.
