Method of checking a “Fuzaihyo” (Attempted delivery notice) and requesting “Takuhaibin” re-delivery
This post is also available in 日本語
Previously, in an article entitled “Very convenient home-delivery service in Japan”, we introduced “Takuhaibin”, which is used to deliver parcels to people in faraway places and when purchasing from mail-order services etc.
When the Takuhaibin drivers deliver the parcels and the recipient is not at home, they will place a “Fuzaihyo” in the post box etc. In order to receive the parcel, you will need to request re-delivery. However, the layout of the Fuzaihyo differs depending on the company. On this occasion, I would like to simply introduce you to the “method of using a ‘fuzaihyo’ to request re-delivery”.
