You’ll Get Absorbed in [MUJI]’s Cool and Convenient Stationery

Now, we use a computer many times at work or study, so we may not use stationery as often as we used to. However, it’s definitely useful when you write down important things in a notebook or you have to memorize something.
You will get relief from having even a few essential items. Therefore, I’ll introduce five simple and easy to use stationery items from MUJI.

Fashionable! “Wooden Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm” (¥490 / Approx. $3)

MUJI’s mechanical pencils are really smooth to write with, and they are very popular. I’ve been using MUJI mechanical pencils for many years now.
This is a cool wooden design and it has a hexagonal shape, so you can comfortably hold it.

As expected, it’s easy to hold because of the hexagonal shape and I could write smoothly without effort.
Actually, I usually use a different mechanical pencil from MUJI, but this was my first time trying this one. I was really surprised since the wooden design feels classy and lifts my mood. And it was amazing to write beautifully. I’ll surely always use it!

Outstanding Writing Quality! “Smooth Gel Ink Ballpoint Pen Knock Type 0.5 Black” (¥120 / Approx. $1)

“Gel ink pens” are also very popular and there are a lot of lovers! It’s a knock type which means retractable, so you will easily click and use it. And it has a 0.5mm tip and balanced line which is not too thin or too thick.

Gel ink is so impressive! I could write with just the right level of darkness, and without any smudging. It was also great that it was easy to hold.
I think it’s nice for everyday use, and also perfect when you write important documents. The writing experience is wonderful so that I feel like I want to always keep one in my house!

Standard 3 Colors in! “3 Color Ballpoint Pen 0.7mm” (¥390 / Approx. $3)

Red and blue pens are pretty useful for underlining important parts in textbooks or taking notes. This pen has red, blue, and black ink all in one, so you always use a color pen with just this one. And you won’t have trouble anytime if you have it!

The triangular shape is also great to hold, almost like using a pencil. The ink colors are bright and easy to read, they are attractive.
You will use it in various situations such as drawing lines, writing text, or making charts. The vibrant colors will definitely stand out.

Easy to Carry! “Thick Film Type Sticky Index Tab 35 × 15” (¥350 / Approx. $3)

Sticky notes are really convenient to mark important pages in textbooks or documents. Even if you don’t use them often, I recommend having them since they are definitely helpful when you need them.
I found this set at MUJI. It has five colors: red, green, yellow, black, and blue. Each sticky note is 3.5 by 1.5 cm, which is a suitable size for carry.

Another charm is a case, so you can easily carry them anywhere and store them in your pen case.

They’re made of film, so they are durable and won’t tear easily. Moreover, you can still see the text underneath, so you don’t have trouble covering up information.

Write As You Want! “Double-wire Notebook Plain” (¥250 / Approx. $2)

A notebook is needed to take notes or copy things down for working or studying. Lined or grid notebooks are good, but I especially recommend plain and unruled notebooks. You can freely write not only text, but also draw diagrams, charts, or illustrations whatever you need.
This double-ring notebook has sturdy front and back covers that won’t easily get damaged. Also, the paper is thick and durable, which is another excellent point.

It has high-quality paper, so I could easily write on! You can freely put your any idea down like words, drawings, or anything else that comes to mind with the plain white pages. Furthermore, you’ll keep this notebook for a long time because it’s really sturdy.
